The film that will finally make people remember Frankenstein as a story of creation, reflection, and forgiveness, not of that of a monster. I watched this film with my mom across 3 evenings over dinner. The three parter was unintentional, but it fit the film surprisngly well. We had: The intro The story of Frankenstein The story of the monster The story was beautiful. The graphics were stunning. The acting itself was good, but not “oscar winning”.

Every season of Foundation keeps getting better. The characters are merging with the actors. The plot is becoming more intricate. The stakes keep rising. This season took turns I never expected. More importantly, it shows that everyone has weaknesses. Power, wealth, intelligence, abilities, love, even different forms of existence are never perfect. No one is ever fully content, no matter what or how much they have. Whether you’re human, a robot, or even a god, existence and meaning are questioned by everyone. ...

I accidently stumbled upon this show Apple TV recommended it, and I absolutely loved it. We’ve seen alient invasions, zombies, plagues and everything else. This felt like a venn diagram of “Better Call Saul”, “The Leftovers”, and “Arrival”. Intriguing, dark, unique and enthralling. It has creative moments, yet also manages to go really deep into human nature. I personally love how “The Others” have as little understanding into their consciousness and existence as we do into hours. It’s a great take on alien civilizations. ...

Another season of Loot that delivered exactly what I wanted: a palate cleanser between heavier shows I’m watching in parallel like Severance and Foundation. As with previous seasons, this isn’t a show I actively recommend to people. It is a show I enjoy watching, and one I’ll keep returning to as new seasons come out. It’s simple, funny, and satirical without taking itself seriously. Every so often, it sneaks in a surprisingly grounded life lesson. The core premise remains fairly original, so even though the show itself can feel a bit globe-nomadic and episodic, it still feels fresh enough to justify its place in the rotation. ...

This show is the embodiment of Seth Rogan in a fancy suit. Funny. Witty. Original. Stylish. Just the right amount of cringe to keep you entertained without drifting into self-parody. Rogan keeps showing up everywhere lately as actor, director, producer, writer. This show is a prime example of what time, experience, age, and a touch of talent can compound into ;) The show gives you a peek into how Hollywood works, but it also feels like a tour of what Rogan loves and hates about the industry told through satire. ...

The first few episodes were slow, but it started picking up. The first season was very “meh” in my opinion, but it passed the threshold of “good enough” to serve as a palate cleanser between more serious shows that I watch in parallel. There are a lot of hidden lessons related to understanding yourself, your partner, finding compromise, and the fine balance of self-preservation, self-fulfillment, self-improvement, and self-sacrifice. In between, funny moments like “Temple Ahava” being the most woke synagogue in the world, and Sasha’s dancing, serve as great moments of comic relief. ...

Having finished the first two seasons about a month ago, I didn’t have to wait long for Season 3. That said, I don’t know how I’m supposed to survive a year (or more) for Season 4. The main cast is changing form, a little bit, but also maturing. As actors, as individuals, as characters, and most importantly, the way their characters play off each other. Things are getting heated, and just when you think you know what’s going on, a twist hits you. Even though we’re watching the show from a third person’s perspective, it’s amazing how we’re passively in the passenger seat of Kate Wyler’s information knowledge base. ...

The season 2 I wasn’t expecting but happy I got. There have been a handful of times when I show I enjoyed was left on a cliff hanger, and never renewed, leaving a gap that will never be filled. The first season of platonic ended on a good note, and I wasn’t expecting a second season, so it was a pleasant surprise. Season 1 had a subtle and well crafted tension between a romantic and platonic relationship between two close friends. Season 2 was all about a completely platonic relationship, with no tinge of romanticism, but co-dependence that exceeds any familiar or romantic relationship. ...

Witty. Fun. Captivating. Entertaining. Thrilling. Brilliant. Exciting. Original This show was exactly what I needed, and surprisingly a lot more relatable than I ever anticipated. I was scrolling through Netflix and HBO Max trying to decide what I should watch. I already had a “Rom Com” pallet cleanse and needed something different. Something real, but not too depressing. This show shows what it means to be a diplomat. Politics are a part of the game. Relationships rule the world. If you also execute alongside this, that’s an unbeatable combo. ...

This was a fun pallet cleanser after watching Zero Day. I enjoyed, but I didn’t love it not hate it. I can’t say it was good, but it was better than mediocre. The story and concept were great. The execution was descent. The leading group of actors were were 50/50, and I feel like the poor performers really dragged everyone down. Steve Carell is awesome, and he did an amazing job at carrying the team, but he is a single individual who can only do so much. Honestly, killing him off killed the show…

The public ratings weren’t great, so I was hesitant, but it was a 5/5 in my books. The first episode wasn’t the best, but it REALLY picks up. Robert De Niro is a master at his craft, and watching him is a privilege. There are only so many shows or movies we’ll get to see him make, so I appreciate each one. It’s cool to see the overlap of his character and his real persona: an aging well-respected individual back for one last fling. ...

If you’re into time travel, you should definitely watch it. If it’s not your favorite genre, you should still watch it. I watched both seasons in quick succession within a 2 week period. That should say enough. An original take on time travel that kept it real without overdoing it. I loved how certain scenes and shots were reused because it added to the reality of it all. The take on “groundhog day” was unlike I’ve seen before, and I could literally feel the character’s pain. ...

I didn’t expect it, but this film exceeded all of my expectations. I wanted a feel-weird kinda-rom-co-ish film, and was okay with something a little trashy. This wasn’t trashy, this was brilliant, deep, thoughtful and touching all at once. Every single member of the cast did a phenomenal job owning their roles. I’d expect this level of talent, dynamics and chemistry only a few seasons in, but they hit it straight off the bat. ...

Phenomenal final season to a show I enjoyed but didn’t love until the very end. Since I couldn’t relate to the characters directly, it took me a little bit of time to get “attached”. After four seasons, I could see the character development the directors were going for. It was less about changing oneself, but more about learning to love, accept and accommodate those around you as they are. It’s a key example of achieving one’s dreams by making the dreams of those around you a reality. ...

A phenomenal ending to an already phenomenal series. A text review can’t do it justice because you have to see and feel the emotions of the characters. The evolution of every character, and the paths they chose, are a true mirror of reality. This, IMHO, is the real black mirror of society. It’s a cult classic, and every moment of every scene was embodied by both power and emotion. I’ll end it here. This is a must watch.

Big Mouth continues, with every episode of every season, to deliver top-notch quality. It’s more of the same, but when the show can’t get any better, that’s a VERY tall order. Somehow, the same characters didn’t get old. The show didn’t get cringy. Redrawing Nick while keeping everyone else the same was a brilliant idea and really threw a curveball into the show. They could’ve kept going, but they ended on a high note, and I’m sure all fans will be grateful that it wasn’t overdone. It’s clear they’re setting themselves up for an “adults version” of Big Mouth, and I really hope it won’t be an “adults version of Rugrats.”

Easily in my top 5 of 2025, alongside shows like The Gentlemen and The White Lotus. A modern twist on Sherlock Holmes that deserves a place in the pantheon of great shows in its own right. An original and refreshing take on the genre, with a diverse cast and a unique storyline. The plot is engaging. The writing is sharp. The direction is masterful. The cinematography is top-notch. The acting is done to perfection. ...

After many years, Black Mirror comes back and does not disappoint. Once again, it’s on point. Even as the world got darker and things are becoming true with the advent of AI, Black Mirror still finds a great way to tiptoe scientific fiction with reality, while providing a unique psychological thrill. The only thing I can say that I haven’t mentioned in previous Black Mirror reviews is that certain episodes can apply to a much broader audience than you expect. ...

I can’t tell if the show is growing on me or if it’s getting better. It feels like as the actors get more comfortable with their roles, and the storylines mature, it’s not just fun and games. It’s becoming real and challenging. It’s the sort of show only HBO can pull off, and it has transitioned from something I watch passively when there’s nothing else to something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to.

I swiftly went through Season 2 and started Season 3 without even realizing it. That probably speaks for itself. Is this a show I’d recommend to others? Probably not. Is it my immediate goto when I want a deep high-quality show? No. Is it something that deserves “high praise” or “high criticism”? No. Am I enjoying it and plan to continue watching it? Absolutely.

Phenomenal. It exceeded all my expectations. I’ve been thinking about it every day since I finished watching it a week ago. Dragon Ball Daima gives the fans what they want. A fun, action packed, versatile story with all the characters we’ve learned to love, a few new ones to keep things interesting, aesthetic transformation scenes, and backstories that prevent it from feeling like “more of the same”. If you’re a dragon ball fan, you should definitely watch it. If not, I’m too biased to give any sort of critique.

Absolutely loved it. The show is unique, suspenseful, original, intriguing, and just sets a really high bar for quality. Every season keeps the same bar as the last one. The last time there was a show that made me look forward to Sunday evening was Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley. White Lotus managed to achieve the same vibe. Fun fact: one thing I didn’t realize up until the very end is that the older brother is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son!!! ...

A TV show that fits the bill when you want something light-hearted, but funny. Something that can get gory but also doesn’t take itself too seriously. Something that’s a little crazy but not too much. Something that has character development but isn’t satire comedy. This show fits the bill. Succession meets The Office with a bit of South Park and a Christian twist. If you’re interested in the above, this is a show for you.

Took me four months to get through this one between holidays, travel and finishing multiple other shows in between. Is it good? Not really. Is it bad? Not really. It’s just a fun watch that’s a bit weird, with a few good moments, and a couple of good actors that carry the entire team. A few of the character arcs are very real and unique portrayals of real personalities. For example, the lead detective wishes the best for others, but doesn’t act on it. The nuns act in faith, but actually serve tea that makes everyone trip. At the end of the day, it shows that everyone does (and should?) act in their own best interest, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t care about the people around them, because they do. ...

A light, fun, heart-warming show that still manages to surprise and reminds you to appreciate the little things in life. My mom and I picked up this show after watching “The Gentleman”. The Gentleman is an absolute masterpiece and likely in my top 5 shows of all time. But, I needed a simple recovery show, but it needs to pass some base level quality. This one hit all the spots: family friendly, engaging, familial, etc. A few characters stood out, but a few felt really fake. Not going to get into the details, but I’ll definitely watch the second season, when I need a “recovery” from another top-tier show.

The stakes for this game were high but squid game did not disappoint. Loved it, and can’t wait for the second season to be released already. I think its fair to say the first season of Squid Game was an instant cult classic. I’d classify this under “trash tv” but with a bit of class. That said, it’s a great “turn off the brain” show before bed. I’m not 100% sure if I’d enjoy it at all if I wasn’t Jewish, but I am, so I did. Stereotypical american jews meet stereotypical blonde girls, and a romantic comedy ensues. Instantly in one of my top 5 shows of all time, and it’ll likely stay there for a long time. I don’t often re-watch television shows, but I can see myself re-watching this one. In fact, while making my way through it with my mom for the first time, my dad joined us for his THIRD time seeing it. The plot is enticing and the actors are fantastic but the hat goes off to Guy Ritchie. He’s an absolute mastermind & visionary who conceives an idea, brings it to live and creates something that most can’t even conceive in the first place. ...

Easily, easily, easily the best show I’ve seen in years. I want to say that I “ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT”, but that’s not enough. I’m “overwhelmed”, in the best sense of the word, by how good the show is. It’s sheer (mad?) creativity, originality, and genius that’s unparalleled. It was a great Christmas themed thriller that took a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming. The story is alright, but it’s the cast that makes it worth it. Sam (the triggerman) was definitely my favorite. A few entrenched father issues, a loyal friend, a loving ex, and one who tries to do the morally right thing in every aspect of life. Somehow, however, doing the morally right thing at every step along the way leads to him being in the wrong spot with blood on his hands. ...

The last season was very much made for the fans. If you hadn’t fallen in love with the the story, the characters, and the overall vibe of the show, this season is not for you. It felt like they forced some ideas to close the loop on things from earlier in the show. Ben’s death is a concrete example of this. The plot just felt overdone. But, even thought the plot was overdone, the cast killed it. Their chemistry was amazing, the characters were dynamic, and the love triangle between Lila, Five and Diego was an absolute bliss. ...

The first few episodes start slow, are a bit hard to swallow, but the payoff in the last two are worth it. They’re a pure work of art. Eric might seem like a show that captures the difficult of 1980s New York when it comes to crime, corruption, violence and homophobia. In some ways, it is. ...

The show started with me breaking my brain as to where I know the lead female actress from. Took me a couple of episodes to realize that I used to watch Gillian Jacobs regularly in Community, during my college years, over a decade ago! She looks the same :) I watched this show with my mom because I only had 2 weeks at home and we wanted a mini-series we’ll be able to finish and both enjoy. I had no expectations going into it but absolutely loved it! ...

More of the same as in Season 1, and I’m not looking for much more. It’s still an easy, light-hearted, turn-off-the-brain show that appeals to people myself: aspiring entrepreneurs, techies, while making stupid jokes. Nothing about this show is award winning or out of the ordinary, but it’s a fun and a relaxing way to end the day. I’m increasingly loving the cast and they’re actually the main reason I’m going to keep watching.

Having read the first book and loved it, this didn’t just exceed my expectations, but left me memorized. The characters were crafted perfectly. The graphics and special effects were neither over nor under done. The balance of tension, relief, story telling and character development was tip-toeing a tough line, but they nailed it. It was definitely a 5/5, but I did get the sense that something was missing from making it an award winning 5/5. I’m hoping that as the actors iterate on their chemistry together in the next season, we’ll get there. ...

Loot is one of my go-to “I just need to relax and watch something” shows. It won’t advance further than that, but I also think I’ll keep watching it as long as new episodes keep coming out. It’s fun, original, has a great composed of many Saturday Night Live regulars. It’s not something I’d ever recommend to anyone, but I will keep watching and only have positive things to say. ...

I acknowledge that the multi-verse theme is no longer novel, and may get tiring, but in the meantime, keep it coming! Dark matter takes matters into its own hands with a dark twist on the multi-verse. Okay, that was a cheeky joke but I couldn’t resist :) The concept of humans being limited from entering superposition due to the observance from our consciousness is brilliant. Taking it a step further, the use of drugs to enable this, along with an endless corridor manifestation is ideal. I could not, in a million years, have thought of a better analogy. In an endless number of universes, I might have though ;). ...

It was captivating, it was discomforting, it was real, it was confusing, it was fun, it was raw. It was a story an individual had to tell, and no autobiography could have done it justice. I made it about halfway through the show before I realized that the show is a true story, and that the main actor is the actual individual who went through the entire experience. Most shows the capture my attention to this degree are a result of seeing parts of myself in the main characters. Though it’s not the case here, I’m still at a lost for words to describe the experience that Baby Reindeer is. You have to watch it to understand.

I don’t have anything too insightful to add that add’s to my review of season 2, other than that it’s more of the same, which is a very high bar to keep meeting given how good the writing, cast and plot is. Adding Luka as a key character was a great decision since it really brought the show to the 21st century. THere was a small suspense of disbelief that millennials keep pushing forward traditional media, but this made it feel real. ...

It’s hard to believe the show is over, but the entire crew ended it at just the right time with a “great capitulation”. The entire show and cast shows the complexity and balance between love, self-interest and human nature. The writing is phenomenal. I’ve been watching a few interviews with the main cast, and it’s amazing how much the personalities of the characters playing Shiv, Roy and Ken really embody their characters. ...

A refreshing idea that I haven’t seen before with a cast that grows on you over time. The majority of the season was interesting and enticing, but the ending simply blew me away.

The first season was fantastic, and the second was was no less. The only difference is the relationship I, as the viewer, have built with all the characters making it so mich more engaging. Though it would be far-fetched to say that this show reflects my real life, but working at a startup with a lot moving parts definitely helps draw some analogues. There’s no single character I relate to directly, but I can see a bit of myself in all of them. ...

Extremely engaging from the very first scene. Usually, when character relationships are built on a lot of fictional history, it takes actors at least a season to get the feel for it. This cast seems to have aced it straight from the beginning, and it makes the show what it is. The brotherly closeness. The “game” that everyone keeps playing. The weird balance of power that everyone simultaneously loves, hates, despises but also can’t live without. It’s all done extremely well. ...

Takes a little bit of time to pick up steam, but is otherwise fun, original and different. I feel that the show is still on training wheels but has a lot of untapped potential. I was confused if I was watching a coming of age show, a sitcom, a sci-fi, a dark drama, a view of life, or a light-hearted comedy. The show tried to do a little bit of everything, so while I’m unsure the vibe Season 2 will go for, I’ll definitely watch it. ...

The show set a very high bar with Season 2 & 3. Season 4 kept the momentum going and kept meeting the standards. While the season finales of Season 2 & 3 hard to match, we really started exploring the development of all the characters involved as they age, mature and how a 30 year relationship between two people differs from 5 years. Margo learns to understand the difficult decisions her mentor had to make and continues sacrificing herself for the good of those around her such as Aleida. The heat between Ed & Danielle intensifies and the only reason they manage through it is because they have decades of experience to back up their relationship. Dev, no matter how rich, leaves behind his home, his family, his team and his legacy just to pursue a different life. Kelly tries to raise a child under the most difficult circumstances. At the same time, space travel and working on mars is no longer a dream, but something people take for granted. Though it’s hard to believe, I can see this being our world in the not too distant future. ...

Surprising in all the right and wrong ways. It’s cathartic, cringy, surprising, enticing, real, powerful, sad, thoughtful, retrospective and simply raw. This show is the start to a great anthology. It depicts real life, showing how quickly things can escalate if we don’t keep things in check. It started off strong, but just seemed like a couple people hitting rough parts of life in different ways. The first 60% of the show wasn’t slow, but felt normal. Things escalated very quickly, very realistically, to the point of disbelief. Only then did it show the importance of having someone who truly understands you. ...

Another amazing season for all mankind, and again, they keep raising their own bar. The directories have an ability to create a suspenseful plot over 10 episodes but really end everything with a bang.I thought the ending of Season 2 was crazy, but the team literally went all out with season 3. Even though it’s nearly impossible to match the emotion and attachment of the scene where Gordo and Tracy reunite ran across the moon’s surface, the number of “bams” here was even bigger. ...

Every single episode was thrilling, thought provoking and original, but holistically it was missing something. I can’t tell if it was the lack of a central plot, a bit of technical direction, a key protagonist, but might be related to a missing connection between the key characters. Overall, I’d recommend it as a 2nd tier for those who enjoy sci-fi, but not a must watch. I can see it being frustrating for anyone who is a strong climate change advocates or denier, but perfect for those who are more centrist. It’ll also be frustrating to watch for people who “hate billionaires”, but I personally liked the impact that capital reinvestment brought to the world even though it came with lots of hurdles. If the last sentence intrigues you, then you’ll probably enjoy the show. ...

When I started watching the first season, I never thought I’d be so emotional by the end of the second season. Gordo and Tracy saving all of mankind is one of my all-time favorite TV scenes. A few other similar moments that come to mind include when Jamie Lannister’s hand was cut off in game of thrones, or when dexter found his wife dead in a bathtub at the end of Season 3. While all of those were shocking, this one was just so emotional and beautiful. ...

The allure of space caught my attention, but I hadn’t heard of this show before going into the first season, and it exceeded all my expectations! The blending of history with fiction is done in a very meticulous and engaging manner. The mix of historical footage, combined with modern computer graphics is on point. The characters have interesting dynamics, nothing is stagnant, and is never boring. The fact that the plot follows a storyline that could very well be an alternate universe, but stays grounded to reality. ...

I don’t have much to add that I didn’t say in my review of Season 6: it’s more of the same thing, and it’s why love it. The directors are doubling down on the formula that made the show a success, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Andrew is gross, Jessi is a stoner, Nick is a nerd, Missy is increasingly anxious, and the fourth wall is torn apart. ...

As a so called “tech bro” in his 30s and failed (but continually aspiring) entrepreneur I was able to relate with both Ellis and Jackson on deep and superficial levels. The show had just the right balance of making someone cringe about the realities of the tech world, touching on deep dark topics, and quickly floating back up with comedic relief. The directors did over exaggerate some truths of how we think and approach day-to-day decisions, but I do not think it strayed too far from reality. ...

Another season, and another step closer to connecting with the characters and their story. I continue to dislike Sol & Robert, as their relationship just feels unauthentic, but everyone is absolutely amazing. The show has a real “Modern Family” vibe to it, but shows that age is not a limit to anything. Ambition, excitement, love and friendship are all timeless and can be found at any age.

The first season was good, but did leave me craving for more. Alas, I was still looking forward to the second season and it was absolutely incredible! The plot, the acting, the graphics, the actors, the ideas, the suspense, all of it! Absolutely phenomenal and I can’t believe I’ll have to wait a year for the next one. Hari Seldon, Gaal, Salvor, Dermezel and all three brothers were absolutely on point. The chemistry between them, the inner struggle, the outward confidence, the brilliance, the strength and the weaknesses were all perfectly balanced to create a world unlike any other. Nothing felt too cheesy, nor too forced, and it all fit into place. They somehow managed to fit intergalactic travel, a telepathic arc, some time travel, a couple love affairs and a revolution all into one season and it didn’t feel like too much. ...

Fills the bill if you’re looking for a dark German limited series, so the acting and vibe aligned with what I expected. However, there was no character development, and the plot seemed to have just ended. There might have been one or two nice moments at the end, but it wasn’t enough to account for all the build-up and suspense where I expected things to really come together. A small surprise would have been nice, but it just felt boring… ...

A short, fun and original series that was very refreshing to watch. I was extremely impressed by all the actors but it obviously wouldn’t have been the same if Ronald Gladden wasn’t the charming, honest, nice person that he is.

The cast found their chemistry and raised in the second season’s acidity. Everyone has their own struggles in this world, and the bear caters (pun intended) to everyone. For those who know the mental struggle Sydney and Carmy are going through with their life goals & priorities, this hits too close to home… The “romance” between Sydney and Carmy is captivating. The fact that every character had their own “coming of age” arc was refreshing to see, as opposed to having everyone huddled together all the time. The internal struggles everyone is facing are JUST real enough. ...

Fun, original, real, and honest. It’s not an Oscar winner I would ever re-watch, but it’s a show I’ll remember and recommend to friends. Rose Byrne is authentic and sexy. Seth Rogen is hilarious and clumsy. The chemistry between them felt so genuine and authentic that I found myself smiling throughout the show. 😄 The montage that the show presents at the end of the last episode captures everything perfectly and made me 🥹. Two friends who can be themselves with each other, being silly, doing drugs, having fun, and creating memories. ...

I watched the whole seasons but am still unsure if I’ll stick around for the second one. The show has potential. While the plot is a typical, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, sci-fi, the acting and chemistry between the characters is lacking. Both the show and characters are too serious, and a pinch of comedic relief would go a long way. Even in a world where everyone lives in a silo with no knowledge of what happened or why, there should still be opportunities to laugh and love and not assume that everyone is depressed all the time. ...

Absolutely incredible. Nothing short of of an oscar winning performance by Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried. This series is what turned me from seeing Tom as a charismatic individual, great actor, good looking guy, to a true artist, a method actor, and one of the best in his field. I did not read about the background of what this show was based on, so I’m sure some moments are over dramatized. However, the (both metaphorical and physical) “Crowded Room” along with the acting by the lead and supporting characters is absolutely out of this world. ...

A great way to disconnect and unwind at the end of the day. An uncensored version of “The office” meets Big Mouth with a ton of sex and hilarious jokes. This show isn’t for everyone, and I can’t say “I love it”, but I find it extremely entertaining and plan to keep watching it. For lack of a better world, it helps me get my fix.

Easily the most wholesome show I’ve ever watched. If anything will give you hope that being a good person pays off, it’s The Richmond (Lasso?) Way.

The relationship between Poppy and Ian brings out deep concealed emotions I didn’t know I have. It’s character development, friendship, love that only nerds can appreciate and it’s beautiful.

The entire arc related to Longbottom is what made this an easy 5 star review. Other than that, it’s amazing to see all the actors really building on top of the chemistry they built in the first season and having fun on camera.

Silicon Valley meets Magic Leap: entertaining and cathartic while really hitting home. As someone who use to live and work in Silicon Valley, I very much enjoyed HBO’s Silicon Valley and could relate. Working at Magic Leap’s HQ in Florida for 3.5 years is something less people can relate to, but it was truly a magical and dreadful experience at the same time. I think that only those who worked at General Magic would really understand. ...

Off to a slow start, but it gets better with every episode. You can sense how the actors became more comfortable with each other over time, and it really came across on screen. It’s either amazing acting, or just organic chemistry, but more likely both. Absolutely love each character and it’s a great reminder that everyone deals with a ton of problems. Young, old, single, married, therapist or not: we all need each other’s support all the time.

I never thought that watching people making sandwiches in a small Chicago cafe could be interesting. Both the character development and the character dynamics are amazing, so hats off to both the writers and the actors. The cinematography is simple, but some of the scenes really hit home and remind me of Better Call Saul. Honestly cannot wait for the second season!

While it didn’t blow my mind, it was “more of the same” as Game of Thrones which is exactly what I was hoping for. It felt more like a story than a journey of character development, but I’m hoping that will change in future seasons.

I rarely watch 2 1 hour episodes back-to-back, but this Season was so good that I had two. The pace and balance between storytelling and character development is perfect.

It’s far from being a great cartoon or comparable to the likes of Futurama, but it is entertaining, passes the time and an easy way to turn off the brain before going to bed.

An original, dark, twisted, true-to-life mini-series that will definitely invoke different emotions depending on who is watching it, and I absolutely love the after-thought it left in my mind.

It’s more of the same thing, and I love it. It’s hilarious, disgusting, nostalgic and original: horny adults in kids’ bodies with hormone monsters driving everything they do. The writers make it light, funny, entertaining, and occasionally break the fourth wall and just disgusting enough without making the viewer uncomfortable. There is a deeper lesson in every episode, but it is delivered in a very light and fun way, so you don’t feel drained after watching the show. ...

In my honest personal opinion, this is one of the most underrated series I’ve discovered. The show defines what character development is, and shows all aspects of it: the euphoric highs and the depressing lows. The breadth of characters also creates a fictional world everyone can relate to. It covers everything from career success to failure, fame and fortune, love and loneliness, sexuality, addiction, death, family problems and so much more. ...

I’m biased because I’d give 5 stars to any show or movie Chloe Grace Moretz is part of, but this one is genuinely one of her biggest comebacks. The show is futuristic, but also realistic. It requires a little suspense of disbelief, but it does feel like it’s right around the corner. It’s a bit scary at time, but also manages to be fun. It’s scripted, but obviously gave the actors a lot of room to explore who their characters are and why. ...

My friend and I like to recommend each other interesting podcasts, books, tv shows and movies that are not just engaging and fun, but also insightful and thought-provoking. I recently recommended him BoJack Horseman as a show that goes very deep and triggers a lot of introspection. I later found it ironic that the show I recommended for something like this is a “cartoon about a horse”. It made me realize that it’s part of the point: a balance between life while also not taking things too seriously.

Though the show started as a sitcom with the main character and a few supporting actors, I now have a deep sense of compassion as if every character has been a life-long friend.

Being born in the mid-80s is probably the best age for this, but being born in the early 90s is also not bad. The number of references to elements from my childhood is simultaneously nostalgic and cathartic. In particular, I love the “generic 2007 song”. Hit every point.

It requires a bit of a push to get into at first, but then the momentum just flows. I very much enjoy the degree of “suspense of disbleif” of how humans and animals coexist, but somehow the show makes it work flawlessly.

I love the plot, the characters, and the amazing balance of gruesome, silly entertaining and funny. This show just keeps getting better and better with every season, and I can’t wait for season 4!

Solar Opposites has grown to be one of those shows that is always fun, entertaining and never fails to live up to my expectations. It is something I don’t plan to stop watching anytime soon.

At first the show was just okay, but as the seasons go on, you really learn to love the characters. Nothing to add moreso than that.

Review #2: I left the first review about halfway through the series, but the second volume was absolutely amazing. The way all the plot lines are connected, and the way all the characters have grown and evolved is impressive. The characters are developing quite a bit, but so are the actors, and it shows. The plotline is unique, the characters are one of a kind, and the visuals are just perfect without over or underdoing it. I really believed that the second volume of Season 4 was going to be the end and was super excited to see that we likely have another season coming!!! ...

If you’ve watched Rick & Morty, Solar Opposites, Big Mouth, Human Resources, South Park and are looking for more, this is it. It’s far from being the best, but it has its own set of quirks and I’d still recommend it if you’re craving another animated satirical tv series.

I can’t believe I finished the whole first season, but it was indeed something that was mildly entertaining and passed the time. I had the keyboard by my side, constantly skipping over various parts, so I probably watched it at around 2x speed overall. The fact that we, humans, like to watch other humans go through this makes me question how evolved or primal our instincts are.

It took me a long time to watch this show because of how mainstream it was, but all I’ll say is that it exceeded all my expectations and lived up to the hype. It was original, energetic, captivating, and I very much do not want a second season.

I watched the first episode and was sorely disappointed. This was over dramaticized, over acted and literally felt like tech bros trying to build hype. I could barely finish one episode.

Even better than Big Mouth. All the reasons why I loved the latter seasons of Big Mouth where the writers got the confidence, backing and creative freedom to be as inappropriate as they want are also all the reasons why I love this show.

Though the game felt very mundane, repetitive and boring, and though the series isn’t necessarily a must-see, it is filled with plenty of surprises and interesting story arcs. I can’t say there is real character development, but I like the characters as they are, their dynamics and am interested to see where it’ll go next. Overall, it’s a fantasy world, with magical creatures, some surprises and cool graphics. I’ll keep watching it because it’s entertaining.

More of the same, but different, as season 1, and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

I watched this series about a year ago but my original review was lost. Overall: MUST WATCH! Though I love the Marvel Universe, I’ve stopped watching most of the films and series because it’s gotten repetitive. Wanda Vision somewhat managed to stand out and introduce a level of creativity and originality that I have not seen in a long time. In fact, my mom, who hasn’t watched any of the Marvel movies/series very much enjoyed it as well. Though she was lost at certain parts, I believe the first half of the season is a must watch for everyone.

Simply love it. Absolutely exceeds every expectation I had! At a time when television shows are either very dramatic, cinematic, educational, emotional, romantic, funny, ironic, or mind-bending Ted Lasso stands out as being a feel-good show that really brings a smile to your face by reminding you how important it is to be optimistic, and actually makes it so. Seeing the clash between characters who are drastically different is entertaining, but also a good reminder that everyone in life is dealing with a lot that others may not be able to comprehend. It is a reminder that we all have friends & family to whom we can provide or look to for support, and with whom we can celebrate both small and big wins.

A light, fun and feel-good movie that doesn’t break new grounds a nice and relaxing way to end the day nonetheless.

After finally catching up on all the released seasons/episodes, I have to admit that Big Mouth has gone from a “I guess I"ll check this out” to “Nothing can match Rick & Morty, but this is definitely an interesting parallel”. The show is not afraid to break any walls or cross any boundaries. It has gone from “average kids going through puberty” to “puberty on shrooms” and I love it!

Not quite Halt and Catch Fire, but a great show nonetheless, telling the story of something we all use and don’t know the background of. The final outcome is quite upsetting, but the show was still filmed in a way that leaves you optimistic as a whole.

I read the books when I was a kid and was very excited when I learnt that Apple is going to produce the foundation series. The funniest bit is that I remembered absolutely nothing about the story even though my recollection was that I liked it. Overall, the actors were good, the graphics were good, the plot was good, but nothing felt “great”. I would recommend it to any avid sci-fi fan, or a fan of the series, but I wasn’t blown away by it. ...

EDIT: Big Mouth started as a “turn off my brain” show before going to bed, but it has slowly morphed into one that breaks all 4th wall boundaries with original and impressive writing. The last two episodes of the third seasons (the misogynistic play, the sexual tension, big dick boy jokes, the middle school superhero episode, coach Steve’s makeover) were absolutely amazing and reminded me of the early days of Community. ...

The level of humor increases with every episode where this show becomes not only entertaining but also clever in an interesting way.

Just a fun show about kids in middle school going through puberty that becomes oddly entertaining the more you watch it.

A fresh and original feel-good and thoughtful TV show full of amazing actors, peculiar characters, and a plot you get attached to. I absolutely loved every single episode, every character in their own way, and every plot twist. The show felt humane, warm and honest. Most importantly, I felt that the show gave the actors an opportunity to really test and practice their acting abilities, which is meta given the subject manner of the show.

It’s always exciting when something crazy enough to only be fictional is based on a true story. I love the fact that this was a very short (3 1-hour episode) miniseries rather than a multi-season show or a very long movie. Would love to see this happen more frequently. The chemistry and performances by Hugh Grant and Ben Wishaw were out of this world.

Absolutely amazing! I didn’t know what to expect of a show where people just sit around playing chess but watched it because it was recommended by several different people. It exceeded all of my expectations. Anya Taylor‑Joy killed it. Everything from the way she spoke, the way she looked, the way she moved her hand and head in different circumstances couldn’t have been more fitting to the character of Beth. Her chemistry with her other characters (the janitor, real and foster parents, love interests, etc…) was perfect and showed a lot of layers and depth to a character that didn’t really speak much. ...

Unique and intriguing, but nothing mind-blowing. I was looking for a light comedic show with a sci-fi angle. On the drama/comedy spectrum, this show definitely leans a lot more towards the drama side, but the idea is unique (and very relevant in today’s day and age) that I decided to keep watching it. Hard to recommend, but I definitely enjoyed it and will consider watching the second season.

I’m almost embarrassed to declare that I watch and enjoy this show, but it’s a great way to wind down the day before I go to bed. It doesn’t require too much mental power and helps me fall asleep. The most surprising things is how the characters and plot keep drawing me back to watch more though.

It’s all good man!! I’m continuously amazed at how great this show is. Every single season manages to give me more of what I’m looking for, but remain original, invigorating and exciting. The one constant between every single season is the mood and feel that the directors create. The emptiness of the desert, the wide screen shots, as well the balance of Jimmy’s humour, excitement, terror and failure. The cinematography is amazing, but I’m not at liberty to comment on it due to my lack of knowledge. I love watching the fight scenes, the shooting sequences, but also a car simply driving through the desert for hours on end. They’re all visually appealing in different ways and set the mood in a very well calculated manner. ...

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! This show is mind-blowing. Dark is making it’s way to being one of my favorite shows alongside Fringe, Halt and Catch Fire, The Leftovers, and Game of Thrones. Just when you think that things can’t get any weirder, they somehow manage to throw a curveball at you. Every episode is an adventure. Unlike a lot of TV shows these days, Dark has True Tone and character. It’s an understatement to say that the characters change and evolve over time. A phenomenal, thrilling, and sometimes difficult to watch series. If this were a fictional Hollywood production, I would say that the writing was great. Given the fact that this was based on a true story, it makes every single scene so much more powerful. Sacha Cohen, playing Eli Cohen, with a mind-blowing performance, carried the show in a way I could have never expected or predicted. All the supporting cast did a great job, but my hat goes off to Borat. ...

This show is amazing and cathartic in every single way. The writers and producers did an amazing job, and I’m sad to know that the chemistry of the main cast has come to an end. The first 6 episodes of the season were absolutely hilarious whereby I literally laughed out loud on my own at home. The last episode was extremely unexpected, and not the ending I had hoped for, but it was definitely a great way to round things off.

I really like Paul Rudd, and the concept is pretty intriguing. However, this isn’t the type of show that I would recommend to someone else, so I’ll probably stop watching it myself. Another great season of Stranger Things! Firstly, I’m very glad that they hired real Russian actors to play the Russian parts (except for the hitman). Even though the show is targeted at both younger and older audiences, it had a Game of Thrones feel to it. The writers & directors were not afraid to killing of primary characters in an effort to have a “happy ending” where everyone wins. This season invoked legitimate feer through me at times, and had a fine balance of fantasy realism with the quirks of having 10-year-olds infiltrate a Russian military base. ...

Not particularly good, but a very joyful, entertaining low commitment show that passes the time. Woody Allen, Miley Cyrus, a bunch of old ladies in a reading book club, 100 references to Chairman Mao, etc… This was entertaining, educational, light-hearted and simply very fun to watch.

A perfect show in every way. It’s a shame Legasov did not live the impact of his heroism, and how he is celebrated and seen in modern culture. I’m going to assume that the show is mostly true to reality, but if it’s not, it does not take away from the brutal, but beautifully told, 5 episode story that was told. It really portrayed how everyone in the USSR saw themselves as members of the state, and they dedicated their whole livelihoods to the state. People risked their lives for a few hundred rubles, which was no more than a few months of pay. I later learned from my parents that scientists and engineers had a monthly stipend of 120 rubles a month, whereas those doing physical labour earned upwards of 400 rubles a month. For comparison, University professors were only earning 300 rubles a month at most. Overall though, I could not believe the level of corruption that existed in the USSR, and how worthless human lives really were… ...

One of the most underrated shows on TV. A lot of people talk about how good breaking bad was, but this show is very much on par, if not better. Having three “completely distinct” stories prevents this show from ever get stale or repetitive. With that being said, they interconnect and link in a very natural that brings things together organically. Nothing ever feels forced. One of my favorite qualities about the show is the tempo. It is very slow. The director always takes time to set the scene. The camera zooms in, or out, occasionally panning across an old empty building when necessary. SOmetimes the shots are taken from afar and sometimes they’re very up close. I don’t know enough about filmmaking to name the types of tropes being used, but it is absolutely amazing. Watching Jimmy just bounce a ball against a door for 2 minutes is not boring. Having the Salamancas play a starring contest for 2 minutes adds another dimension to the show. A+ ...

I was looking for a fun easy to watch show, so I decided to go back to a show I haven’t seen in years with supposedly good reviews. It was so bad and boring I can’t finish it,,,

Having not known anything about the trial, this ten episode special was a great historical lesson. Based on some googling, it seems to have been true to reality. The show was captivating, engaging and well shot. However, it wasn’t breathtaking or thought provoking. It is a good show, but not a memerable one.

In my opinion the second season was much better than the first. At times it felt like they were trying to do too much or seem like they’re to achieve an extremely grand vision, but when it all comes together it’s simply remarkable. There are very shows in my life that I’d ever consider rewatching, and westworld is one of them. Moreso, this is one of the few shows that I would be interested in having be converted to a game of thrones style book to really gain an insight into what each character is thinking and feeling.

This season, like all the others, was ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY amazing! The last episode left me with tremors I’m still feeling right now. Really puts into perspective how difficult it is to be conscious without being able to express your emotions.

As a time travel junkie, my opinion is definitely biased. The bits where they try to explain/rationalize time travel, it’s very cheesy. Everything else is absolutely amazing. The character backstories, development, relationships, and hardhips are all absolutely amazing. If you’re a fan of anything related to time travel, this is a must watch.

The first few episodes were extremely captivating, but it started getting a little bit repetitive towards the end. A new superhero hero is always exciting, but I’m afraid that one season is more enough. Similar to Arrow, Flash, Gotham and many others that draw in their viewers into a new world full of new characters, I can easily see this show fall down the same rabbit hole. The show started off deep, emotional, confusing and challenging to comprehend. However, all these challenges were resolved very simply in a childish fashion leaving me not craving for more. ...

With the series finale, I can confidently say The Leftovers is officially one of my favorite shows. It’s only three seasons, but every minute is packed with so much emotion. It is neither shorter or longer than it needs to be, and it never tries to do too much. Mixing weird scientific incidents with historical biblical references in a modern setting isn’t easy, but The Leftovers does it in such a way that there’s no room for me to complain. It has a great mix of the impact of The Leftovers on the individual, but also society as a whole. It’s well balanced enough that I never felt like I was missing, or had too much, of either one or the other. ...

One of the best shows that has gone under the radar and doesn’t receive the press or credit it deserves. A large and diverse group of main characters, who are telepathically interconnected in a very intriguing plot, have so much chemistry on screen. Every single character is unique and diverse in their own way, but it somehow all comes together. Every actor encompasses the backstory of whom they play that I connect with them on an emotional level. Even though there is an individual plot that everyone is facing, the transition to/from the overarching shared plot is very smooth and unforced. There are no fillers, superfluous fight scenes or unnecessary sex scenes; everything has a meaning. ...

If I could give this season more than 6 stars, I would. The storyline, acting CG, music all come together to make something that is unbelivably breathtaking.

It’s amazing how funny, entertaining and true to reality this shoe is. It identifies tech trends very early on, covers every type of stereotype in the valley and simply manages to relate on a very foundational level.

Episode 1: While I wasn’t really looking for a new show to watch, I decided to check this out because it’s produced by Rocket Jump. It was filmed well, the idea is original and it was fairly entertaining. However, in an age where this is so much good tv to choose from and so little time to watch it, this show does pale to impress. Episode 2: Significantly more impressive than the first episode. I was pleasantly surprised that they’re following a Black Mirror type of approach where episode follows a completely different storyline. It’s also very similar to Black Mirror in the sense that it follows a futuristic/dystopic world. The second episode started out very funny and friendly but took a very cringy turn and thought I enjoyed it, I felt very uncomfortable towards the end. I definitely need a week off of Dimensions 404, but am legitimately looking forward to the next episode.

It’s been a few years since I watched a full season of south park from start to finish and must say that I’m extremely impressed! I love the fact that it was one continuous story, with brilliant writing, exploring a few avenues of political discourse that somehow came together at the end. Most importantly, it was fucking hilarious, ‘member?

Regardless of your opinion on President Trump, two words that John Oliver will never come to terms with, it has created for a very entertaining and educational of Last Week Tonight.

Episode 1: It’s nostalgic, exciting and action packed. It managed to maintain it’s authentic visual and audio aesthetic, while also feeling modern in the scope of other shows that are released nowadays. Most importantly, the show is not afraid of verging on breaking the 4th walll and being funny, while also being very psychologically deep by addressing Jack’s inner conflicts. Episode 2: This episode was the fucking bomb. It’s amazing how you can say so much with such little dialogue. ...

Episode 1: Holy shit, I think I’m hooked! I love that the show picks up 20 years into their marriage where things are seeming to finally show some cracks. I’m excited to learn about their backstory, about what they do and just how American they really are. The characters felt very real and I can’t wait to keep watching this show.

Episode 1: A new unique show that really show the other side of something I’ve never seen before. I can tell how difficult it was for both the artist and director to figure out how to fill an hour, but every moment still managed to be unique, moving and inspirational. Utterly amazing! Episode 4: This episode was VERY INTERSTING BUT I DID FIND IT BORING AT TIMES. I really admire BJARKE and how he’s changing architecture and was surprised to learn how out of the box some architects think. This provided me with a perspective iI had never come across before.

Episode 1: An intriguing concept with a lot of potential that just didn’t feel real enough. While it’s not a bad show by any means, it does pale in comparison to all the others in this “Golden age of television” and I simply don’t think it’s worth my time.

Episodes 1 - 2: Really glad the show is back and that it picks up exactly where it left of. All the characters seem to have very well defined rolls now so I’m kind of curious to see where their stories and personalities will take them next. Just seeing things play out won’t be enough to keep me intrigued. Episode 3: While there was nothing in particular that blew me away, I think it was an overall solid episode that progressed a lot of different storylines with some minor twists. I would compare it to episode 3 or 4 in a GoT season. Jaha goes on a small exciting mission that nothing came out of. Octavia shows off her skills and finds her “long lost sister”. Raven makes a list and a reference to the shows name #BonusPoints. Murphy keeps being a lovable thief and keeps toying with my emotions. Pretty much got everything I came for. ...

To sum up this episode with two words: euphoric ecstasy. I had forgotten how much I love the characters, and am impressed by the connection the show has helped me build with them through triumph, discouragement or just basic every day life.

Episode 1: This was more of the classic sherlock we know and love, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It was intriguing, exciting and thrilling. Full of plot twists, cool camera angles, mysteries, and a conflict between our favorite protagonists. The ending was very unanticipated so I’m looking forward to see where it’ll go from here. Episodes 2 - 3: Words cannot express how much I loved this seasons. It was absolutely brilliant.

Unlike THE REST OF THE WORLD WHICH SEEMS TO LOVE THIS SHOW, I HAD MIXED FEELINGS. THE DIFFERENT TIMELINES SEEM TO CONVOLUTE THINGS FOR NO REASON. Episode 1: I’ve been hearing a lot about this show and finally decided to give it a shot. Supernatural powers set in a small US town in the 80s? Count me in! I was very intrigued since the very first scene, and lam a fan of all the child actors selected. There wasn’t that much depth to the first episode but I can’t wait to watch the next one! Episodes 1 - 4: Getting more funny and better with every single episode. Episode 5: There’s something about the musical episodes that also gets to me. Community and Kim Possible are the first two that come to mind, but I love the spin Rick and Morty took on it. How do they come up with this shit? Episode 6 - 10: Hilarious. Episode 1 Really glad to see that the show has returned! The tone has really changed since the first season. Elliot has no trouble breaking the fourth wall anymore, and not only narrates, but has even developed a slight vendetta towards the audience for not warning him in the first season. He has also turned into a complete schizophrenic. While he is aware of his condition, he doesn’t seem open to external help or mediation. He believes that a regular and mundane schedule will help him stay in control and prevent him from harming anyone else. While is it very interesting to see him dealing with so much self-conflict, I hope this doesn’t last for more than a few episodes because it could get boring. ...

Episode 1 I’m intrigued. I like the sense of mystery and metaphysical connection being built between the different characters. I’m also a fan of having a large set of “primary” characters of diverse backgrounds because it gives the writers lots of options on how to develop the storyline and will keep things new fresh all the time. Episodes 1 - 2 I came back to watch the first season for the reason I liked the first: It’s a cool story, that’s somewhat cheesy but has a much larger element of depth and seriousness behind it than some other superhero shows. That being said, I’ve seen some good shows since this season last ended (The leftovers, the walking dead, better call saul, house of cards and narcos just to name a few, thought there are many more), and realized that this show doesn’t compare. The acting, character development and writing are all subpar. I will keep watching it in the meantime but am not going to commit to finishing the season.

Episode 1: Can’t express my excitement about the fact that the time has come for another season. Amongst the lines of other shows such ass Modern Family or Community, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was a new and refreshing change. Over-the-top stereotypical characters, in a somewhat unrealistic scenario, facing unlikely issues in life, but solving them in a genuinely humble and funny way. Not something I would come home running to, but definitely a great show to watch. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out of Season 2, beucase more of the same thing would not be sufficient.

We quickly realised that it’s just a cheesy teen drama with a bunch of really good looking people. However, we kept watching it out of sheer amusement and were impressed some of the plot twists and the transformations some of the characters had undergone. ...

Episode 1 Long time freddiew & rocketjump fan, so I’m really really glad they’re doing this. I loved the behind the scenes, meeting the crew, seeing freddie and his partners in action, both filiming in discussing. I love seeing how an idea turns into a story, and how compromises need to be made. I loved learning more about how everyone sees the filming process. It was all interesting and extremely enticing. However, the short itself was only mediocre. Though there were a few stunning scenes that are burnt into my mind (in particular, when the horses start running), and while I’m very impressed by all the different shots and effects they were able put together, the storyline just didn’t do it for me. I found it amusing, in particular the scene when they leave the bar, but something is missing. The crew is very talented, but it is still not “TV” quality. That being said, I’m really looking forward to seeing how the other shorts turn out.

Episode 1 It is difficult to judge the quality of the film and story as I’m just really pleased to see this show again after almost a year and half of finishing season 1. More of the same dark drawing tone and mysterious characters. The actual shots filmed seem to be of higher quality, so the budget may have very well increased. Episode 2 There is a very unsettling feeling watching parts of this show, which is precisely why I love it. That being said, I would really like to know what the hell is going on. Episode 4: An amazing soundtrack, a lot of movement in the plot, and a great distinction between the toll that this takes on people over the short and long term. Episode 7: We’re finally beginning to get some answers. Old characters are coming, and minor characters are becoming more important. Crazy shit hapens. Episode 8: Okay.. HOLY FUCK! One of the best episodes of TV I’ve ever seen. Justin did an AMAZING job. Guilt, confusion, pain and determination all in one character. So different and so unique from everything else I’ve seen, but I believe that this episode really grasps the theme of the show. It’s about the fight, reflection, asking the right questions, feeling helpless, but still driving forward. This episode was a reflection of life. An absolutely amazing episode overall! ...

Though it takes a little time to take off, this show does know less than blow your mind as the first season culminates. A depressed, hacker, nerd type protagonist, with a few characteristics slightly in excess, manages to scare me, annoy me, and excite me. A twisted plot, an eery mood, with a very captivating premise done just right.

This show is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. A dystopic world that makes you sick to the gut, but also one you cannot turn away from. It shows human’s truest nature, in it’s most hideous form. As the name implies, it’s a black reflection of our world with emphasis on the horrid behavior we are capable of today, and a scary insight into what we may be capable of in the future. ...

Episode 1: I think this show is going to make me develop a different type of appreciation for food and I’m looking forward to having that happen. Episode 2: While everything was interesting and insightful, one very important thing was being overlooked. Growing food for uniformity, mass production, transportation and storage is what came with the industrial revolution at the turn of the century. This is primal in keeping costs down, keeping supply apply, and maintaining/promoting globalization. While I do agree that some portion of the population, such as that portrayed in the show, should look to push food to new limits through exquisiteness, uniqueness and health., it is very important to keep cost in mind.

Narcos: Episode 1: I’m hooked. Episode 2: I thought the “story-telling” aspect of the show was going to deteriorate after the introduction, but it’s still staying strong. A very captivating story, with very incisive characters, presented in exciting matter makes you want to keep watching this show. Episode 3: Arguably the best medium to deliver an interesting history lesson that won’t bore you to sleep. I cannot speak for the historical accuracy of this show, but I thought it was phenomenal overall. The storyline is captivating. The actors are handpicked particularly well and really give off an essence of the character they are portraying. The show is very beautifully shot: the actions scenes are thrilling, the drama scenes make you a little anxious, the mystery scenes make you dwell, and there is a very good balance. ...

I was initially very excited for this arrow spinoff, but realized shortly after watching the first few episodes how cheesy both shows are. While it does have it’s exciting moments, and the big budget allows for very cool effects, the plot has no depth and the characters are very superficial.

While it’s not the best show on TV, nor is it Netflix’s strongest production, it is a very strong contender in the superhero series phenomena. I would place Daredevil midway between Arrow and Gotham, because it strays away from super cheesy and cliche hero genre, but is not quite as dark as I’d expect the Daredevil to be.

Episode 1: The first episode has set the stage for a very sci-fi-ish dystopian world, with a very permitting plot that can expand in various directions, and lots of room to, and lots of room to both introduce, kill of, and develop the characters introduced; all smothered with cheesy goodness. Episodes 2 - 4: The show is getting heated, and it becomes increasingly difficult to determine who exactly are the main characters and what lies ahead. Alongside many hot-chick dorky-guy cliches, the show can be quite staggering in many ways; such as introducing a young girl that first kills and proceeds to take her own life. While there are many scientific loopholes, and the apathy exhibited by these children towards Earth after only having been there several days is unsatisfying, overlooking them unlocks a potentially very interesting underlying plot. ...

While it is definitely one of the cheesier shows I choose to watch, with a lower budget, and not the strongest cast, it still manages to be very entertaining. Time and time again, I’m pleasantly surprised by the turns the plot takes, and how the characters develop. Not the best or funniest show on TV, but definitely something worth watching. Very heartfelt, fun, and has it’s good moments. This show takes you on a long emotional roller coaster that you just don’t want to get off of.

This was one of those shows that started off really good, but kept repeating the same thing too often while taking too long to drive the underlying plot. Only got up to season 5.

The hype this show had speaks for itself; in a good way.

You start watching this show because you want to see batman, but you get so much more! Unlike other superhero shows airing on TV right now, Gotham really stands out in a gruesome, sentimental and enthralling sense. The whole show is an origin story of sorts, that really makes you appreciate the world of gotham beyond just Batman. A strong, very well picked cast, makes the story feel real, even under surreal circumstances. Cheesiness is kept to a minimum, so as only to provide “comic relief” at various times, but this show is otherwise amazing! ...

Episode 9: “Don’t think. Just eat”. A slow episode that finally addresses both physical and mental tolls that a the life of the walking dead can take. From hunger, to anger, and sadness, and replete with lethargy, the limitations of a real human being are finally addressed; emotionally and physically. The state of the show mimics it’s own plot, which is just a depiction of our understanding of the world around us. There is only chaos, and we are always trying to make sense of whatever is left-over.

Every character and clique develops in a very unique fashion and never ceases to surprise. The show doesn’t necessary grab your attention, but it does maintain your interest and keeps you watching non-stop.
